Benjamin (Benny) Salcido, entered into eternal life on January 6, 2021 at the age of 68. Benny was born in El Paso, Texas on March 22, 1952 to Jose Angel and Sarah Armendariz Salcido. He was a life-long resident of El Paso, and a proud graduate of El Paso High School, class of 1970 and also attended UTEP. He served his country in both the US Marine Corps and US Army.

Benny was a humble and loving brother, uncle, father and friend. A mega fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the UTEP Miners, sports were always near and dear to his heart. A gifted musician, you could always find Benny singing, improvising along, or conducting an invisible orchestra any time there was music playing; to him, music was life. All our lives will be a little less musical without him. We love you, Benny!

Benny was laid to rest on January 12, 2021 at Ft. Bliss Cemetery.  In behalf of our Class of 1970 to which Benny was a classmate and an honorable friend, we extend our sincere condolences to his family and pray that he is at peace with God and his angels in heaven.
